  • The most common side effects of AUSTEDO® included inflammation of the nose and throat (nasopharyngitis) and problems sleeping (insomnia).
  • 4% of participants taking AUSTEDO® had to have their dose lowered due to side effects vs 2% taking placebo.
In clinical studies, people taking AUSTEDO® were able to continue with their mental health medications like antipsychotics and antidepressants.1,2

Other side effects of AUSTEDO® in the clinical studies included depression, restlessness, agitation, and a strong urge to move (akathisia).1
